From tasting notes 9/17/20
Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, crystal clear and golden yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds covering the surface, a thin ring forming at the edges. Lacing is fair with broken webbing, vertical lines and small spotting.
Smell - More fruity than dank, with hints of orange and tropical fruit.
Taste - Light notes of citrus, dank and floral qualities upfront and throughout, before a bit of tropical zing creeps in mid-taste and follows through to the finish.
Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp, refreshing finish.
Overall - Nice IPA with an easy going flow. Great one on a hot day or if you're looking for something not too heavy. I'm not really one for dank notes, but this one had some nice fruity qualities which balanced it out.
