From tasting notes 10/1/20
Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, crystal clear and yellow in color. Thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring around the edges. A few broken lines and small spotting makes up a minimal lacing.
Smell - Mild aroma. White bread. Trace of floral hops. Not much else.
Taste - Follows the nose. Bready character, mostly, with a hint of clean grain. Ghostly trace of floral and fruit notes. Finishes quick, without much aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-in-body with fair carbonation. Smooth drinker before a crisp, refreshing finish.
Overall - A cold fermented blonde ale? Interesting concept, though the final result tastes a bit like someone mixed a blonde ale with a Budweiser. Not one I'd order again unless I was hot and sweaty.
