Canned 01/21/21
Appearance - Pours clear and golden yellow in color, with a white, half finger width head that displays fair retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface, thickening up around the edge of the glass. Solid lacing, with big pathes, broken lines and small spotting decorating the glass.
Smell - Classic mosaic aroma: tropically fruity and slightly earthy.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tropical notes of passionfruit, mango and bright citrus, along with hints of underlying earth and a pinch dank. Clean, bready malt undertone. Finish lingers with mild earth and fruit.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - I liked the Strata JAH more, but again, well done by Claimstake to utilize these hops in a way that really let their best attributes shine.
