Had on-tap at Claims take Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a willi pint, mostly clear and bright, golden orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface. Good lacing, with thick bands of webbing, short, broken lines and some spotting.
Smell - Citrusy, tropical aroma with a hint of stonefruit. Mild bready undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Orange hits first, then peach rings and lesser mango and guava. Malt backbone that hints at bread and a touch of caramel. Light pine develops as the brew warms. Nice, balanced flavor. Clean finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Smooth, silky texture that makes this dangerously chuggable.
Overall - Damn good IPA, with great, balanced flavor and a stupid smooth body. Fingers crossed this one lasts on tap for a while, because it's a go-to.
