From tasting notes 4/16/21
Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cirdova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 10oz glass, crystal clear and bright gold in color, near barren surface with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Lacing is fair, with thick, broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Citrusy aroma. Mild cattiness. Hint of booze.
Taste - Starts bright, with tangerine and pineapple, then a bit of mango and white grape sneak in. Solid caramel malt backbone. Hints of grapefruit and pine emerge near the finish, though lingering tangerine is the prominent note in the aftertaste. 4.5
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with low to fair carbonation. Slick, almost velvety texture makes this a damn smooth drinker for the size.
Overall - Another killer West Coast triple by Claimstake. They definitely have the style dialed in. So great.
