Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 13oz snifter, salmon pink in color with a head that rises slowly front the bottom, almost like a nitro pour, and peaks at less than a half finger. Lacing is fair with a ring of suds that breaks off into a bit of webbing, small lines and spots. Also plenty of sediment mixed in from the fruit used.
Smell - Banana hits the nose first, then orange, with lesser guava beneath.
Taste - Swaps with the nose. Guava is prominent, hole the banana adds underlying mellowness. Almost a touch of mint leaf in there? The orange adds a bit of citrus punch in the finish. Light pith found in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Very thick body, with low carbonation. Creamy texture with a bit of chalk from the fruit puree. Drinks really easy.
Overall - Really solid smoothie IPA. Grabbed a can from a local bottle store to enjoy later.
