Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a willi pint, hazy and golden straw yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds across the top, thickening around the edge of the glass. Nice lacing, broken sheeting connected by thick horizontal bands, some webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Fair orange juiciness, light pith and a somewhat floral note sitting beneath.
Taste - Juicy orange upfront that's quickly met with a touch of grapefruit and pithy bitterness. Light grass. Trace of earth in the undertone. Pith and faded orange lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Silky smooth texture thanks to the oats, with a real easy finish.
Overall - Easy drinking hazy with a bit of a bite thanks to that pithy quality. Really Good. Would drink again.
