Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a willi pint, lightly hazed and orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds. Good lacing with some broken sheeting, random chunks, lines and spotting.
Smell - Citrus, slightly grassy aroma. Underlying pine.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fair notes of citrus, grass and a light touch of green pine. Light breast, slightly earthen malt undertone. Aftertaste mostly rings with light citrus pith and lesser grassy bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker all the way to the finish.
Overall - Beers with Dank in their name worry me, but this is actually a light, balanced West coaster. It might disappoint those looking for that bong load experience, but it's quite a nice brew to drink for me.
