Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a willi pint, crystal clear and solid gold in color, with a thin, broken layer of suds across the top. Good lacing, with webbing, broken lines and some spotting.
Smell - Citrusy, fruity and a slightly musty, dank undertone.
Taste - Light citrus and fruity qualities upfront before light pith and grassy bitterness in the finish. Light, bready malt backbone. Aftertaste lingers with that grassiness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker before a crisp, easy and slightly dry finish.
Overall - Solid West Coaster that drinks easy. Nice IPA for warmer weather.
