Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a willi pint, mostly clear with a golden yellow hue and a thin, broken layer of suds across and a consistent ring around the edge. Fair lacing, with some broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Bright citrus and a touch of earth on the nose.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tangerine, lime and peach upfront. Light dank, leaf and a trace of stonefruit pit nuttiness follow. Mellow, bready malt backbone. Finish brings a hint of pith, which lingers with lime essence in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a smooth, semi-dry finish.
Overall - Tasty West Coaster with bright hop notes balanced by lesser earth and mild, bready sweetness. Very nice.
