Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a can-shaped glass, Crystal clear and golden in color with a thin, broken layer of surface suds, thickening into a ring around the edge. Solid lacing with thin sheeting devolving into webbing as it gets further down the glass.
Smell - The smell is a bit catty, along with hints of lightly toasted bread, citrus and guava.
Taste - Fruity flavor upfront hitting on peach, lime and guava. Bready malt undertone. Finish adds a light citrus pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth texture. Easy drinking before a lightly dry finish.
Overall - Solid cold IPA. I don't know if I'm sold on this style developing super amazing brews, but I also have yet to try a bad one.
