Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Ranch Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, clear and brilliant yellow gold with a thin, broken layer of surface suds. Fair lacing with some webbing, broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Sweet, citrus aroma with a hint of dank riding beneath.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrus-centric with candied orange and lesser lemon zest upfront and throughout. Mid-taste brings a hint of stonefruit and mild dank. Somewhat bready malts sit well beneath.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, semi-dry finish.
Overall - Tasty, easy drinking West Coast DIPA. Would certainly drink again without hesitation.
