Poured an enticing dark, almost black and certainly looked black in the snifter.
The head was almost a non starter- dissipated very quickly and virtually no lacing. Odd. The aroma was very tough for me to pick up anything but the malts. (Mmmm, beer!). The taste though really did well, definitely coffee forward, but no bitterness often found with coffee included Stouts. Must have been the lactose (AKA: Cream) Regardless, its quite tasty.
The feel was spot on for the style, smooth and creamy.
I’d gladly drink this one again. Well done Drafting Table Brewing
