16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours moderately hazy ruby red/orange/pink color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited Berliner weisse. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish, not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced between nicely jammy raspberries, Lacto complexity, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

Nice fruited Berliner. Pours a nice purplish red, thin head, recedes slowly, bubbles linger on the edges of the tulip. Smells really nice, pleasant soft raspberry. Bright, a bit under carbonated and thin, but really refreshing and drinkable. Nice soft raspberry, wheaty backbone a bit hidden, comes through on the aftertaste. Could do for a jammier raspberry feel and a bit more carbonation, but a very nice offering from a brewery on the rise.
