A handsome deep, translucent amber out of the tap, with a bright white, fluffy head. The head fades slowly, with ample cling. The taste is fresh and hoppy. Lingering bitterness accentuates the beer’s refreshing quality. The carbonation is enough to scrub the palate, yet the overall effect is smooth. I like it.

On tap at l'Express de Lyon in Paris. Great smell, a real american ipa. But the taste doesn't follow, it's more on an estery side, I would classify this as a Belgian IPA. It's too sweet for being an american style IPA

This may be the tastiest, hoppiest French beer I've ever enjoyed. Bought @ La Moustache Blanche bottle shop on rue des Tournelles in the Marais (check 'em out) - proper in every way, other than being called a double IPA when it feels more like a IPA. Tastes way lighter than the 7.6% abv. Great Mosaic and Simcoe grassiness to the aroma with just enough citrus and cut so that it doesn't smell like a giant weed factory. Good taste, a little empty mid-palate, but good attack on the front. Smooth. Good mouthfeel, maybe conservatively carbonated. I'm shocked. Might be my first "love" beer I've had in France. Bien fait les mecs! Try it out next time you're in Paris. Good stuff.
