Leaf, pepper, piss and sour lemon. 4
Shortbread, then passion fruit, slight onion, muskmelon, slight pine, and herbs. Flecks of lime, blueberry and Topps bubblegum. 4.25
Almost medium, round, oily, super soft. 4.25
Columbus + Mosaic.
So Alex the brewer gave a chat about how this is kinda an anti-NEIPA - all the hops + smooth, but no haze + no polyphenols. And it’s dead smooth, all right, and multifaceted. But for such a popular hop, Mosaic seems to be a tough one to maximize. Maybe I just need to get my head around a beer that’s not pure juice. Still lacking, somehow, though; especially against Whiplash-level expectations. 4
