On tap at the launch at Taphouse, Ranelagh, Dublin
Hazy lemon with shaving cream foam. 4
Peppermint and lemon peel. 3.75
Speck of wheat then grapefruit, melon, passionfruit and mint. 4
Crisp, light, snappy. 4
Lemondrop, Galaxy, Simcoe + Ekuanot hops
APA, not session IPA - how much does that matter? It’s subtle, which is another way of saying it doesn’t have half the hoppy juice of Rollover. I could stay on it all night, but would I? 3.75
Mar 30, 2020 update:
23 day old can shipped direct from the brewery.
Looking again at the colour (pils gold); bitterness (26 IBUs) + hop profile (citrus forward) it seems like this is very much by design that other kind of hoppy session beer: sharp, unfussy, and cleans up after itself, in the mold of a British Golden Ale, trying to capture the lager drinker.
Rollover does great as the sub-4% fruit bomb, but I don't always want that - especially lately, as it's become a bit played out.
I change my mind, I would stay on this all night.

Yellow gold colour, nicely cloudy. White, fluffy, creamy foam. Fine bubbles form a very compact form that lazily reduces to a centimetre thick layer. It stains the glass profusely.
The aroma is incredibly juicy, fruity, mainly citrus and its peel, but also tropical. The aroma gives the impression of sweetness.
Taste dry with a zesty, citrusy bitterness. Sweet notes subtle, strongly withdrawn.
Saturation medium upwards. Body medium. Texture smooth. Aftertaste long dry with a sweet finish.

Got to go with the review from misteil as well. Even in 2023, due to rising costs and such beer feels watered down/carbonated but not this one.
You can follow misteil's tasting notes on this one. I get all the same and he has already described everything.
The can is going for €2.50 in all respectable off licences / supermarkets.

look: two finger foamy white head with excellent retention, beer is a hazy golden to straw colour.
smell: smells nice and juicy, orange and mango, nicely sweet, hint of lemon sherbet, hint of vanilla, hint of honey, bit of floral character, quite pleasant.
taste: not bad at all, again lots of orange and mango, sweet but not too sweet, much danker than the nose, slightly resinous, piney, floral, no real bitterness on the finish to report, sweet fruit flavours linger.
feel: light bodied, medium to high carbonation, super crushable, really drinkable.
overall: for their core beer, and a low abv beer, it’s very good, super east going and tasty.

330 ml can with an interesting design.
No hiss when opened, usually it’s the privilege of the lightly carbonated beers. And so it is. Although I like the microbubbles it has, makes it very fresh very crisp.
Top: 1” white head, lasts for 3 minutes. It’s average.
Colour: hazy light/straw yellow, it looks like a witbier, tbh.
Smell: grapefruit straight away, then some lime and a hint of pine.
Taste: very refreshing, light(ish) bodied and doesn’t feel watery, even though it’s only 4.5% ABV.
Very moderated bitterness, a little sourness.
I know it will sound stupid, but has some fresh “Converse sole” taste and smell in the background, it’s not unpleasant, just unusual, I think Citra can cause that.
Dry finish, lasting mouthfeel.
Summary: isn’t this a white IPA/APA? It has wheat (you can clearly feel it), and some oats too (for the extra haziness?).
Because this beer feels like IPA meets witbier. Does not feel like a “normal” Pale Ale to me. And it’s very nice and absolutely refreshing, I can see myself drinking this during the summer, when it’s too hot and humid for a standard IPA/Stout.
Lovely.

Pours hazy, caution light yellow in color with one inch head. Taste is grapefruit rind and lemon. Really bitter, light bodied, moderate carbonation. Makes for a slightly above average pale ale. Most likely a pass in the future.
