look: three finger foamy white head, very good retention, beer is a dense amber colour, loads of sediment rolling around the glass.
smell: slightly subdued aroma but smells nice, lots of citrus fruit, passionfruit, hay, grass, floral, nicely sweet, quite dank.
taste: really quite dank, orange pith, pink grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and lime, lightly sweet, toffee, quite piney, floral, grass, medium bitterness on the finish, sweet fruits linger.
feel: medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, oily, lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue, very drinkable.
overall: probably my least favourite whiplash that i’ve had, not a bad beer, just not up there with their best in my opinion, maybe the can could be fresher.

CAN
Leggy white film over bronze with slight haze. 4
Passionfruit, dank, grass. 4
Slight blonde toffee, hit of cut grass, grilled pineapple, mango, touch of resin, and evergreen. 4.25
Soft, oily, light+. 4
Gentle and nuanced. Doesn’t club you with any one angle of Simcoe, yet gets them all in. Very well put together. Up to Whiplash’s usual standard. 4.5
3rd tasting: Surprisingly bright grapefruit, passionfruit, and more pineapple.
