most whiplash is good, indeed very good, but it’s been a while since i’ve had a great whiplash, and boy is this one of them, this may be their finest IPA, milky straw coloured beer, super dense haze, fluffy two finger white head with good retention, aromas of marmalade, grapefruit, resinous, dank, floral, the flavours are sweet toffee, orange, pink grapefruit, mango, papaya, chrysanthemum, pine, herbal, dank, resinous, medium bitterness on the finish, medium bodied, light carbonation, so smooth, so pillowy, so nice to drink, this is top tier from whiplash

CAN
Milky blonde; mint oil, resiny grass, and dank; touch of dough then mellow mango, pine bark, pineapple, orange rind and resin with long overripe papaya linger; pillowy body.
Chinook, Vic Secret

Heavy, possibly unripe nose. Not sure how rough Chinook bittering fits into a low-IBU NEIPA. This is pretty dialled down, overall; an old school DIPA in soft focus. Vic Secret seems to add a high note; like some acidic tropical that balances the dank. Way drinkable + up to the usual WL quality.
2nd tasting; April 24, 2020: Pure milk; mint oil nose; lime rind, pine, and menthol; round.
Just so *oily* - ringing, botanical, resinous character to the hops. Vic Secret comes through strong. Not typical of Whiplash's output, but well done + nice to drink.
