Blonde haze; super crunchy crystal ganga - almost smoky; pastry then pineapple, burnt grass, lemon zest, papaya linger; soft + round.

Super kronik nose. 3 different shapes to the hops, which is good yet not what Do You Wanna Touch Me? brings. We’re in the salad days of NEIPAs if this beer is merely great, not spectacular.

2nd tasting, May 9, 2020:
Spun gold with puffy head + particles, big lemon zest with melon + lime hints; lots of tart tangerine, tropical Hubba Bubba, hints of herb oil; crisp, thin + hot.

Citra + Ekuanot

Had this a couple of months, so could be fresher. And pours with a spray of black particles, so more questions. Still, gives a good blast of citrus + some Ekuanot botanicals. But I don't quite trust its condition + its quite boozy so I might walk away from this glass...

Pours a hazy, medium amber, peach coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smell is dominated by juicy tropical fruit: mango, papaya, pineapple with a hint of citrus and a light herbal note. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by juicy, slightly sweet tropical fruit: mango, papaya, pineapple and just a hint of zesty orange rind and herbal dankness. Finishes with a light bitterness and hop burn, with some dank notes lingewring in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

Quite a nice NEIPA that almost reminds of some stuff I had by Cloudwater recently, high praise indeed, great stuff.
