440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Murky greyish-brownish-yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yellow stonefruits, citrus, tropical fruits, spruce and pine. Flavour with the same elements, particularly over-ripe peaches, papaya, guava and sprucetips.

On tap at The Big Romance + at Underdog, Dublin
Milky tan; humming herb oil, some scallions + lemon rind; creamy Weetina then crispy kronik, grapefruit peel, lots of melon, slight dank, underripe papaya, onion, + a bunch of grass; super creamy
4 4.25 4.25 4.25 4.25
Vic Secret, El Dorado, Citra, + BRU-1
Mellow + smooth. Seems to veer between tropical + savoury, depending on the serving method (can v tap) and freshness. No Summit, Simcoe or Mosaic, so not sure who’s bringing the onion. Not WL’s punchisest, but still class.
2nd tasting; April 17, 2020:
Pineapple nose; melon, pineapple chiffon, dank, light pine, herb oil + musty lemon; soft. Still savoury, but only if you look for it, still underpowered compared to other WL DIPAs.
That's BRU-1 bringing the pineapple, obviously, but I'm still not sure where those murky bottom notes are coming from - Vic Secret missing from the label this time around.
Anyway, this skews sticky botanical + tropical over anything bright, juicy or zesty. And it's light for 8%, NEIPA notes, etc.
Just... not sure why people loved this enough to vote for a rebrew.
Maybe I'm missing something.

Very nice refreshing double ipa with with slightly alcoholic sweet taste to it which is absolutely fine at 8% vol.
Loving the design of the can, as always when it comes to whiplash beers
