Hazy blonde; oddly muted nose - a bit of herb; slight malt sweetness hit of lemon oil + pineapple with some grass + spice to end; clingy + round.

Denali, Amarilo
Interesting choice to build on a base of Vienna, and I haven’t come across Denali since it used to be called Nuggetzilla. Sadly, it’s all for naught. This is a one-big-hit-of-citrus, not especially smooth (for the oats + wheat), overcarbed, mostly forgettable pale ale. Blurb talks about building on Northern Lights, and if this was 2.8% I’d love it. But it’s not.
