Milky blonde; pineapple, white melon, and a bit of hoppy resin on the nose; lemon sorbet, some grass, more fresh pineapple, cantaloupe balls, green Lifesavers, a hint of spicy scratch + grapefruit peel end; pillowy + salty.

Chinook, El Dorado
Great showcase for the delicate El Dorado: delicate tropical + citrus with no dank or cat (though I don’t get watermelon.) But there is significant hop burn: with a May 7 packaging date, this is all of 17 days old, so that’s no surprise. I like this one again in 2 weeks.
Whiplash are Ireland’s best NEIPA brewery, even when they brew in South London (Gipsy Hill.)
