now, if stjamesgate, ba’s leading authority on whiplash, is to believed, this is whiplash’s best beer, and as a result, one of the best beers by anyone ever, now i’m also well acquainted with whiplash, and in fact, this is my 50th beer by them, so i feel like it’s of some consequence when i say that this is the single most drinkable dipa i’ve ever had, so smooth, so pillowy, so juicy, botanical, herbal, tropical, pine-y, citrusy, low to medium bitterness on the finish, medium bodied with medium carbonation, it’s seems so dangerously sessionable, all while still being delicious, i can only think of a couple other ipa’s that are in the same league of this beer, wonderful

CAN
Milky blonde with steady white carpet that crusts; lemon sorbet with some sage + pineapple puree; croissant dough then lemon verbena, grapefruit granata, a ton of peach, a sudden blast of ganga, and a wild weedy end; pillowy with no bitterness.

BRU1, Centennial and Idaho 7
Collab with Wylam.
From the outset: I’ve never had an NEIPA quite like this.
Paler than most + the nose is so delicate as to be almost botanical. But the flavor... fluttery, with lots of essential oils on the top notes, a definite estery stone fruit middle, then this surprisingly dank bottom end.
And all wrapped in a cottony soft body that finishes is like a whisper - you’re instantly ready for the next sip, with not a notion of the ABV.
This is not a fresh squeezed, Tree House, Galaxy, tropical fruit fest - this is altogether more refined + subtle.
A tribute to the skill of the breweries + one of the most idiosyncratic NEIPAs out there.
