CAN
Milky blonde with white that sheets nicely; pineapple + papaya on the nose; zesty grapefruit, leafy ganga almost like oregano, light tropical and grass; crisp.
4 4 3.75 4 4
Galaxy, Denali
So this is pretty grassy, and pretty fresh - the easy conclusion is dry hopping that needs to settle. And that might be true. But it’s an herbal, oily grass, and that could be Denali, reportedly. Either way, there’s some white melon + papaya that I suspect should be bigger, but this is doing just fine for a 5%er right now.
Decent, and could get better.
(second tasting)
Milky dark orange with steady ring of foam; Seville orange nose; grapefruit, pineapple, dried apricot, herb, spice; smooth + round.
Settled down nicely; no grass + the spice is harmonious. More grapefruit than I’d expect - still not getting any Galaxy tropical. But a 4 overall Whiplash standard APA.
