440 ml can, as Whiplash Disco Mystic Double IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Opaque yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, peaches and melon. Flavour with the same elements, also alcohol and a certain hopburn. Moderate bitterness. Very good beer.

CAN
Dank, earthy nose; mango ice cream, weed, underripe peaches, some grapefruit, cat, herb; clean + light. Honeydew (underripe, too) + passionfruit as it warms. Soft.
4 x 5
First tasting showed some big tropical from Strata, but this dose is mostly Citra. Fruit is not intense, but there is resin + some herbaceous oils, too.
NEIPA notes light for a Whiplash beer, but I suspect that’s actually age - there was a big dose of juiciness + kind bud just a week ago that’s not popping now (defo no Strata strawberry!) even when it’s had time to open.
And considering Marris Otter, oats, and wheat, not notably smooth body for an 8%er.
Lots of good moves, but also lost a step this time around.
A delicate flower, for better or worse.
