Jet black with tan foam; big maple nose; wood, treacle, prunes, almonds + a big woody maple hit; silky, chewy, med-full.
Collaboration with Honest Brew
Stout with French toast and maple syrup

Gets the concept: plenty of maple (though not getting the toast.) A properly big chewy stout that hits in waves: cola, then wood, then bitterness. Balanced, with real IBUs to clean up.
Not usually a fan of pastry stouts, but this is a bit epic.
