Looks and smells like a bright, fun NEIPA, but that doesn’t prepare you for just how bouncy + juicy this is. That comes in a delicious one-two punch of lots of soft, yellow fruit followed by a crashing Sunny D citrus wave. Add an oaty smooth body + zero bitterness and there’s not much more you could ask for at this strength.

Also, serves to confirm that 4-8 weeks is the sweet spot for Whiplash.

look: giant foamy white head with excellent retention, beer is a milky straw to amber colour, totally dense haze.

smell: lovely sweet fruit aromas, apricot, mango, citrus fruits, juicy, piney, herbal, hint of brown bread malt, grass, floral, smells great.

taste: damn tasty, fruit flavours are so nice, quite sweet, juicy fruits, apricot, mango, pineapple, papaya, lemon, lime, orange, orange pith, slightly resinous, slightly dank, herbal and floral, grass, light to medium bitterness on the finish, sweet fruit flavours linger on the finish, mmm.

feel: light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, smooth body, super mellow, easy drinking.

overall: a real nice neipa, well balanced flavours, really quite a mellow chill beer, fun stuff, all hail whiplash
