Copenhagen 30/4 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. White can with some clip art like a collage of pictures of people on stairs and some yellow arrows.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of stone fruits mingling with citric scents. Peach, mango and pineapple. Grapefruit and blood orange.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly sorger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Ligers for a while. Finish is dry and bitter.
Pleasant and citric window to the jungle.

CAN
Tawny milky blonde with thick steady white head; grapefruit, pineapple, and lemon balm nose; Cream of Wheat, then lemon, mint, melon, peach, passionfruit, hints of orange, resin; clean + soft.
4 4 4.25 4 4
Vic Secret, Mosaic, Cascade
Vic Secret seems to lead: there’s that ringing herb oil quality, though it’s less intense for having just Mosaic + Cascade play off of. Aside from the odd citrus note, those two seem to be providing mostly depth of flavour - no blueberries or flowers.
Tropical but not pulpy, bright but not juicy, this is well put together and easy and pleasant. But it’s not a banger. I’ve got to wonder if, at only 1% ABV less than Whiplash’s DIPAs, this is really giving good mileage.
Pleasant, if not exciting.
