CAN
Milky pale orange with puffy white foam; crazy hop pellet, orange oil + sweatsock nose; speck of fresh-squeezed OJ, pungent hop oil, a hit of resiny, sticky dank, and a pine bark finish; smooth, zingy, soft.

Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo

Whoa, we got a live one here!
The nose, despite a month after release (and, confusingly, almost 5 months in the can, if I’m reading the date stamp correctly) is like sticking your nose in a hopsack.
Taste starts with ringing bright citrus, then rindy oiliness that is vibrant, almost minty in its intensity. Dankness, while powerful, comes third, which is a bit ironic because the release announcement was all, “unmistakably DANK. If you don’t like Columbus, move on please.”
It’s hazy + soft but not classic New England: if only because it’s using all old school West Coast hops. (I also don’t catch much in the way of esters aside from vague peachy undertones that could be Amarillo.) But that’s not stopping this from being a stunner.
And on top of that, it’s balanced and easy to drink.

Forget Flora & Fauna, if Ireland has a Pliny, it’s this. True powerhouse.
