Built on as hazy a base as always, Elektrobank takes a light touch of Columbus in the boil, is hopped to hell with Mosaic in the whirlpool and then heads off to gently bubble on some London Ale III to throw some peach, apricot and a full body with a soft texture.

CAN
Hazy dark gold under speckly white head; overripe pineapple nose with some melon; Seville oranges, mango, donut peaches, touch of onion that lingers; soft, smooth, round.
4x5
Mosaic
The little brother of Saturate, according to the blurb. That tracks; that was also hazy-but-not-NEIPA affair that was strangely low on Mosaic + therefore tough to love.
This is neither one thing nor the other: skips both lush tropical and murky dank to play in a middle ground of mild orchard fruit (no blueberry either) that flirts with onion but never gets dangerous.
Still well-executed, drinkable, balanced, etc. - we’re still talking about Whiplash, after all.
But is it hard to get the most out of Cryo? Because this is not the first too-quiet Cryo beer I’ve tonight, never mind ever…
I just can’t get excited about this.
