Leather with cherry highlights under loose but sticky taupe foam; beef jerky, toast + cherry stones on the nose; bread crust, walnut. grilled steak, drip coffee and caramelized coffee biscuits; bitter, clean, salty.

Dang, that’s brown.
Interesting in that it shuns sweetness for more savoury notes. Even the dessert resonances - Lotus Biscoff comes to mind - are tamed by so much brown malt it’s almost roasty + an assertive hit of IBUs.
Nice sessionable 5%, too - I could see this fitting in a lot of places. I’m off to go find suitable food pairings.
Would make for a far more interesting core beer than Loud Places.
