Ruby-chocolate with a ribbon of leggy taupe; brownie crust, prunes and leather on the nose; biscotti, Frangelico, black cherry stone, chicory and birch beer; dry, light-medium, slight chew.

So a keeping porter was aged and more highly hopped with the intention of mixing it with fresh porter on service.
This tastes not really either. Instead, it's a brown malt heavy bit of nuttiness, though without - due to the gravity - the working man's drinkability of that era of porters.
Needs a bit more hops or roast to cut that coffee + liquor heaviness, especially with cask carb levels.
Tasty, but unblended aged stuff should be a rare treat, and this kinda... isn't.
