Hazy brass with tight white head; orange zest + ganga nose; mandarin peel, peach nectar, canned pineapple, light pine; soft, round smooth.

Motueka Amarillo Galaxy
This is the hop bill of the Verdant collab (Looks Like Rain) but with Galaxy, so I'd expect a beefier, punchier NEIPA.
But in adding a hop, they seem to have dropped a yeast - there's none of the haze, esters, or softness that I'd expect for a good NEIPA. So we get a Mountain/Midwestern IPA, except the hops aren't assertive enough for that, either.
Galaxy, especially, is underwhelming - a little goes a long way, but I don't see where it turned up at all. Hop oils are there, but in a herbal tea, tincture kind of way.
Overall, weak sauce.
The most disappointing Whiplash since lockdown.
