Bright gold with leggy white froth; dank, orange blossoms, and a whiff of scallions on the nose; mandarin, peach, touches of white melon + resin; soft, salty, smooth.

Strata, Eclipse, Amarillo

This is almost exactly what you’d guess from the label: doubled up citrus from two fresh-orange-slices hops in Eclipse + Amarillo, and a thread of Strata dank that goes oniony and rotten strawberry as it opens.
There’s some biscuity MO to the base, a pop of stone fruit esters + a pillow of chlorides to lay it all on, but otherwise this is one of the most straight ahead NEIPAs Whiplash has ever made.
Can’t give it a worshipful review for that, but there is something soothing in the simplicity.

Literally does what it says on the tin.
