A taste of Oktoberfest! Dunkel Bock is a particularly malty style of lager with lots toasty & caramel character. We've gone rather traditional with hops here with Mittelfruh & Magnum, leaving plenty of room for Vienna Malt, Munich Malt and Golden Naked Oats to do their thing.

Bright chestnut with puffy taupe head; soap, toast + hazelnuts on the nose; bread crust, light caramel, vague flowers; clean + smooth.

Rare to see a Dunkel Bock in the wild.
This is meant to be all melanoidins, and so it goes. All the Munich, no cloy, heat buried, way drinkable.
I don’t encounter these enough to say for certain that this is a great one, but the Whiplash craftsmanship is certainly there.
Sneaky drinkable autumn sipper.
