Hopped entirely with superdelic from start to finish, packing out the whirlpool and throwing the surplus of our 60Kg allotment into 2 healthy dry-hopping doses. Superdelic is a new hop to us so we were keen to see what we were playing with, like a supercharged Nelson Sauvin laced with lashings of Ripe Mango, Cantaloupe & Pineapple.
Superdelic is something special, and we're looking forward to getting our hands on more next year!

Milky pumpkin with a cap of webbed, athletic, lumpy bone white foam; pineapple, Seville orange, underripe nectarine, and mango on the nose; mango smoothie, Berocca, yellow Fruit Pastilles, slight dank, hint of raspberry + banana and grassy end; medium to full, creamy, soft, slight chalk.

Superdelic
The eponymous hop is the new hotness among Kiwi varieties, with candy and red fruit notes, reputedly.
Those do show up, along with a healthy whack of mango, in a tropical Hi-C kind of way. So does a bit of hop burn, though (and this is ~10 weeks in the can), in random sips. That + a Mosaic diesel thing keep this from being as easy a sipper as it should be.
But hey, lovely pillowy body, no ABV burn, good head retention, bit of vanilla as it opens. I’d like to say WL have recaptured their old form, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Still, this is fun to drink.
