Red earthy brown color with a huge light caramel head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of caramels but well balanced with piney hops. Hints of toffee.
Hoppy flavor with notes of piney and some citrusy hops that predominates over caramel and slightly toasted malts. It finishes with mild cocoa and vanilla. Dry and bitter aftertaste; fortunately, it feels higher than its 22 IBUs.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7.6% is very well disguised.
Very good American Brown Ale; I was afraid that it would be too much caramel given its name, but resulted to captured the gringo spirit through piney hops. I would advise for more complexity, but the proposal says Caramelo... Worth trying.
