The radicle is the first part of a seedling to emerge from the seed. And so our Radicle Red IPA brings together an emerging artist and a brewer, collaborating in celebration of the 60th annual Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.
Started in 1961 by Murray and Maravelle Koffler, the TOAF has helped launch numerous careers. Notable artists such as Ken Danby, David Blackwood, Joanne Tod, Jennifer Stead and Harlan House exhibited here during early stages of their careers, and in 2021 Varvara Nedilska did the same, winning the Best of Student award.
Says Varvara: “My illustration reflects on the role beer has played in my life and the way I’ve seen it bring friends together during the pandemic, watching the sun go down together while sharing a drink.”
We hope you’ll agree that this Radicle Red IPA is a work of art in its own right!

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From Small Batch Dispatch's December curation. Canned October 2/25. My 9th beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and 6th for 2025. Ridiculously recommended by Sundae the cat...
