Appearance: brown in color with a 1" head that slowly falls.
Smell: chocolate and coffee are easy to detect.
Taste: roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, some dark fruit sweetness, and a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smooth at the finish. Long lasting chocolate and coffee flavors.
Overall: one of my favorites at Lovelady. Great balance and enjoyable to drink.

Look (4): Poured from a crowler. A nice dark brown/black color with a red hue around the edges. A light mocha tan color around the edges.
Smell (4.25): An amazing roasty intense coffee aroma. Dark mocha and chocolate in there as well. It's made with local coffee ingredients and man are they pungent! It comes out in a very good way.
Taste (4): Mocha roasted coffee flavors, earthy and sweet chocolate flavors. Again, very pungent with the coffee from the start to the bitter finish. It's like ice coffee!
Mouthfeel (3.25): Light to light plus body. It leaves you desiring a bit more, then again it's not suppose to be a thick stout. Creamy texture and a bit astringent. If the after taste lingered a bit longer then I'd like it more.
Overall (4): While they lack in the name and logo for a brewrery, they make up for it with the facility and what I think are some of the most solid brews in town. (their sours are pretty great!) They've only been open a week and I think they're potential is limitless.
