Taster at brewery. Interesting concept, a hoppy Bock, and it works. Very well. Bright yellow with small ring if head. Malty aroma, hops kick in at first taste, the juicier Citra working well with nice sweet malts Bock finish, lingering sweetness with a tingle. Really nice

Beer is a bit of a mess - lots of hefe ester notes for some reason, phenol alcohol is pretty solvent and harsh, really lacks a good malt presence for the style

Appearance: pours a light orange color with a 1/4" head that slowly falls.
Smell: some caramel and fruity tones comes through to the nose.
Taste: nice malty backbone with caramel, tropical fruits, and a moderate bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Light crispness to start with a smoother finish. Short lasting aftertaste.
Overall: strange to see a bock styled beer in Vegas, and this one hit the spot !

Hmmm...A golden bock that's hopped with Galaxy and Citra. Very pleasing tropical aroma, dark golden color and a very clean, balanced finish. You can tell it's a lager because of the clean, malty backbone, but it has enough bitterness to balance it out and make it a unique twist on two different styles (Bock/IPA)
