I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that is leaving some lace. The scent and taste followed common chocolate peanut butter porters. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Pours a very deep brown/amber. Smell is earthy, chocolate, and coffee, with a faint hint of hops. Flavor has just enough chocolate sweetness (combined with the malt bill, creates an almost chocolate-cereal flavor) to balance out the earthy coffee bitterness. We can take or leave the peanut butter addition, but overall a good "brown ale" leaning porter.

Appearance: dark brown with a short 1/4" head that falls to a spotty surface covering.
Smell: mild chocolate tones rise from the glass.
Taste: roasted malt, dark bread, milk chocolate, mild coffee, only a slight hint of peanut butter here. Bitterness is mild.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Smooth from start to finish.
Overall: a good porter that was easy to drink. A few could be had in a session.
