Tasted on tap at the taproom.
Great reddish-brown color and crystal clear. Low, tan head. Aroma has brown malt, raisins, molasses. Flavors similar to aromas, with additional herbal note that could be from appropriate levels of oxidation. Medium body. Low but creamy carbonation. Low to moderate bitterness. Moderate to strong alcohol. This is a great barleywine for sipping and pondering. Good depth and complexity.
