Pour is a nice golden color. Like a deep gold. Unfortunately no head on the beer. Very light white one on the pour that was gone by the time I was done pouring the beer.
Smell is vegetal. Vegetal and chili peppers on the nose. White bread crust as well.
Tastes like the skin of a chili pepper. Yes a green chili peeper.. There is a hint of heat hiding on the back of the taste. Yet the heat never comes out. Bizarre because you can pick it up but its not there. Very odd.
Mouth is light and the finish is crisp but has a lingering something to it.
Overall I am really on the fence on this one. I like my chili beers but not the vegetal variety. And that is partially what we have here. It is also a lager. Very confused on this one.
