Thanks Brian for sharing the growler. Fresh, good carbonation, but some off flavours, and that started with the weedy smell. I have had this hop elsewhere with satisfaction. So-so drinkability.

I was in Cambridge for work-related reasons and got a chance to swing by Barncat for the first time. This single-hopped APA is almost completely opaque, yellowish-orange in colour with a nice white head. The nose is not overly pungent but very good, a serious juicy orange scent with an additional smell that I can't quite place. For some reason, marzipan comes to mind. Not a scent I am accustomed to encountering in beer, but it is good. F
Flavour is a bit weaker, but this is still a very nice APA. Again, lots of citrus (orange and tangerine) with a low level of bitterness. Some bready malt presence. Very soft mouthfeel, very nice to drink.
My first beer from Barncat and I am quite impressed.
