Stout it out #8
Too think and light, especially compared to the previous beers. Not much flavour abound. Bourbon vanilla, no coconut. Too think as well.

Received from @Coroneous in an LIF associated wit a NBW BIF and share with my Stout Appreciation Group
Poured stout black with a dense medium brown head.
Aroma lost on my Covid damaged nose.
The taste was light enough with the coconut so it didn't overwhelm the base stout and the vanilla added a mild sweetness. There was no char or hoppy bitterness, this was mellow and smooth. I rather enjoyed it.
The feel was hefty enough to carry the flavors but never approached chewy. Very good.
OA, Very much enjoyed this and coconut is an additive I tend to shy away from. Would love to try some of their other BA variants.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium dark brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of vanilla and coconut with some fudge notes and bourbon notes. Taste is a mix of coconut and vanilla, some fudge notes with some bourbon. Body is full with good carbonation with some light warming alcohol notes. Solid imperial stout with some pastry notes but well balanced overall.
