This is a really great looking place. It's a converted railroad station, hence the name. (Or perhaps modified railroad station is more accurate, since I'm told it still functions as a train stop. I did hear a train go by while I was there.) Two levels, very spacious. Extremely clean and neat atmosphere; all wood and brass surfaces are polished and shining. Also, there are many objets d'art (French for "arty shit", I believe) adorning the walls. You can see the brew works through a window behind the bar, which is always cool.

The bartender was also the server when I was there, probably because it was a slow Monday night. The service was fine, even though the bartender had a tendency to walk past my empty glass a few times without asking if I'd like another. No biggie- it was quiet enough that there was no problem getting his attention to request a refill. If you express interest in a beer but aren't sure if you'd like it, they'll give you a small (4 oz.?) sample glass. Very cool.

The menu was decent. Pretty typical selection of appetizers, sammidges and entrees. The prices were average- $5-8 for apps and sandwiches, $8-20 for dinners. I got an appetizer consisting of fresh-cut french fries smothered in cheese sauce and topped with bacon. I couldn't finish it all, and since I'm no beanpole that's saying something.

The beer selection is limited to what they brew there. Six beers on the board, two of which they were out of. Three bucks for a 12 oz. draft, with happy hour specials on weekdays. Limited wine selection for the ladies and/or non beer-drinkers.

Really, the prices aren't bad, especially considering that you'd probably end up spending more at some Crapplebee's-style chain joint.

I've heard rumors that this place will be closing its doors soon due to slow business. The bartender told me that the Arroyo Amber and Deralement brews were gone, and I don't know if he meant they need to brew more or that they're GONE gone. I sure hope he meant the former. If this place really is biting the dust, I'd recommend that anyone in the Y-town area check it out at least once before it disappears.

This is one of the coolest brewpubs I have ever been to. Located near downtown Youngstown, you might think you are in the wrong place because the brewpub is in kind of a seedy area. The have a decent sized parking lot and we had no trouble finding a spot even on a Saturday night.

The brewpub itself is a converted train station with amazingly high ceilings. There is a large fireplace on one end and the bar on the other, and you can see the brew works behind glass behind the bar. There is a large metal spiral staircase to take you to the second level in the middle of the seating area. The second floor has more seating and a piano, and lots of sidewalk lights which is a nice effect.

B&O stocks about 8 beers at a time, some rotating and some permanent. They offer a sampler at 50 cents per beer. They also sell growlers at $11 ($8 refills). The beers were hit or miss to some extent, but they do have a couple of unique offerings rather than going the "light-amber-stout" route. Their Porter and Deralement were both particularly good.

The service was decent, although it seemed to take awhile for the server to get to our table for drink orders after we were seated even though they were not that busy. It was not a big deal because the service was good throughout the meal, and the server knew their beers pretty well.

The food here is very good. Starting with the chips and salsa (which was excellent), their entrees are great. Both the ribs and the 4 cheese fettucini alfredo with blackened chicken were top notch. Just the icing on the cake for this awesome establishment.

This place is a must stop if you are anywhere near it, I really wish there was a place like this where I live.

Old train station suits this brewpub quite nicely spacious a ton of seating but I was saddened by the sight of no pool tables or dart boards nice horseshoe shaped bar set in front of the brewing equipment visible through the windows. Very up to par not the newest and flashiest looking place but solid and well fit for the area. Service was decent didn't deal with the bartenders, but the waiter who served my g/f and I was right on the money no complaints didn't do back flips for us on a relatively slow night but did his job sufficiently. Selection light lager, a fruit ale, spiced ale, pumpkin ale, Double IPA, porter, irish amber, and sadly a alcopop. Food was affordable and tasty just a couple sandwiches I had the chicken and my lady had a burger nice. Worth a stop when we are chiling in her hometown and thirsty for well made fresh brewed beer.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, located in an old train station that Amtrak still stops at. Hugh ceilings that have to be 50ft tall, large windows, and a nice balcony with plenty of seating. They usually have 8-9 high quality brews continuously on tap; an Irish amber, a lager, an IPA, a porter, and a hearth ale that's always well spiced. In addition they also have rotating brews that include awesome Imperial Stout. Every two weeks or so they have a cask conditioned brew released; last week it was a cask conditioned porter with port soaked oak chips, in November I had the cask conditioned MVP with whiskey soaked oak chips. The food is great; I've had a steak sandwich that's absolutely enormous and the lamb chops are excellently seasoned. Overall a large menu with a ton of different selections for whatever mood you're in. And if you look at the specials page you'll notice great dishes that are prepared with their brew.
I recommend stopping for dinner or just for a few beers, this is an amazing building with great beers & excellent food.

Just went here located in an old train station and converted into a brewpub/restaurant, beautifil atmosphere. First, the beer selection was excellent, several to choose from. I had the Imperial Stout, malty, toasty, great flavor. My friend chose a sampler of a spiced beer, pale ale, etc. All were very nice. The food was incredible. A little different that your average pub food, things like quail eggs in the salads, very good. The service was very good, always checking to see if we needed anything, which was great because she was also attending to a large party upstairs. Stop by and see for yourself.
