It is a Basement Taproom set in a historic downtown building. The Staff is always friendly the beer selection is diverse and they normally have some of their Barrel- aged Stouts in bottle for on site consumption.

Located in the former boiler room of a much larger building that served as a federal office and post office. The taproom is down some stairs from the outside alley and parking area. Also has an upper level with seating and a window view to brewing equipment and barrels. Also this upper level has a door access to an enclosed but uncovered patio with picnic tables. Heavy wood topped bar and other seating at the lower level. About thirty taps of rotating styles, and also includes seltzer, mead, and non-alcoholic. Liquor service with cocktails. Food from a nearby hotel kitchen. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Cooler has cans to go. Lots of history for this repurposed space. The main entrance is in an alley off the street, and being downtown, finding parking can be a challenge. Once entered, the experience is rewarding.

Stopped in on an August weekend evening, a week or two before the students came back...it was pretty quiet. Food (ordered at the bar) was from some kind of take-out place next door. Really cool subterranean tap room. Friendly, smart, and attentive staff. A lot of different beers on tap, but I tend to prefer traditional styles (of which they had a few) and they clearly cater to a customer base that goes for more trendy mashups and strange additives. At any rate, the two beers (dunkel and double ipa) were very good to excellent.

Downstairs in downtown Lincoln. A really good, brick walled interior with shiny, stainless steel brew kettles and exposed pipes and tap handles made of custom copper and pipe with gauges. Helpful and friendly service. Happened to be there for University of Nebraska Cornhuskers football season opener versus Illinois, on the road. It was on TV, and it was late August of 2021. The favorite of the four beers tasted was the Drunkel Tim, Munich dunkel.

Really tasty beers at this Lincoln brewery, with their BA Stouts really standing up to other world class beers. Simple but nice finishings with an industrial feel, room at the bar for 20 patrons, additional table and booth seating. Simple food is served - seemed like maybe they were using a vendor from upstairs to run the food down? Good nonetheless. They have several events throughout the week - bingo, trivia and such. Crowlers to go for $13/$14 and up (32 oz). Bartender was helpful and pleasant. Parking might be difficult during busy times.

Was my favorite brewery in Lincoln after Ploughshare closed.

Not any more.

Owned by a local homophobe and bigot who actively tries to keep LGBTQ people down via legislation.

I'm feeling very conflicted because the brewer is a long time acquaintance from my home brewing days. He's a great guy and a Master at getting all kinds of "non beer" flavors into his beers. Truly experimental and embodies home brew spirit. I love his creations. But with what I have now learned about the ownership, I just can't support them any longer, sad to say.

I visited this brewpub with coworkers and consultants on a recent business trip. Located in a trendy area, parking was not easy...but there was a municipal lot a short walk away. The brewpub is downstairs and the beer list was excepitionally broad. The beer was well made, particularly a tasty IPA. The food is not from on premises, but is from the kitchen of a neighboring restaurant. I had a wonderful steak Cobb salad. Nice place.

THAT series.....F.ing amazing. Beerkeeps and workers are knowledgeable, but lacking if you are frequent customer. They alsways have a large/vast selection of beers to enjoy. If accessibility was a rating on BA, I'd give it a 1 out of 5, trying to find parking is a bitch. But at the end of the day, this beer is worth it!

Classy place, the brick work and tanks behind bar give this place a nice feel. Informative staff. Tons of beers for a small brewery. If they have time the staff love to talk about the local beer scene.

such a cool place, underground, almost hard to find if you dont know where it is, in the old basement and boiler room area of some old municipal building or something. i could easily see someone walking around it three times before finding the entrance. inside its sort of split level, a long bar with some really cool tap handles and visible tanks, an upstairs seating area, views of the brew house, exposed brick, dim lighting, a speakeasy feel, and a bustling atmosphere, very very cool all around. we had a huge range of beers here, from coffee stouts to aronia berry blondes and their hoppy stuff. from top to bottom the beer was excellent. usually i am wary of a huge beer menu like this, but all were great. service was cool too, the dudes obviously knew what was up, and were happy to chat about it. the coffee stout won the day for me, but i really did like it all. this is an undiscovered gem of lincoln i feel like, arguably some of the best beers we had in town in definitely the coolest space of any of the local breweries we made it to. i cant wait to come back here some rainy winter morning and crush on that coffee stout. i loved it here, and you likely will too. great beer and even better vibe. top of the lincoln list i reckon!

This place is really neat. It's a cross between casual and classy. It was a little hard to find though, you've got to go to the south side of the Grand Manse and take an outdoor staircase to the basement.

The service was a little slow when I was there last, but they're just getting started, so that's understandable. They made up for that with the quality of the beer. I love the beer and will be back for sure!
