Undated 12oz can poured into a pint glass boasts a very dark amber color, when backlit showing very clear, but opaque and floats a generous 1"+ head of off-white fluffy bubbles and leaves erratic artistic lacing.
Aromas of roasty malts including coffee and cocoa bean highlighted by fresh air.
Taste matches with the cocoa being more dominant and even influencing a cocoa powder sensation without being sweet.
Full feel is smooth and creamy in spite of the cocoa powder sensation and finishes wet.
Overall a solid Baltic Porter.

Taste: robust full of flavor, semi sweet, dark chocolate malt, hint of tobacco. Same with the nose. Black, opaque, with tan head and nice lattice of lace. Full body. 30 IBUs

2023: Draft at Map Room, served in a footed tulip. Thanks to Bob for this one!
Jet black, creamy tan foam, ample lace. Aroma is mellow and roasty, caramel and coffee.
Flavor has a deep roast coffee and dark chocolate profile, bittersweet with a dry finish. Medium to full bodied, clean and drinkable. Overall this is a great rendition.

32 ounce crowler into a tulip snifter. Also had on tap.
Pours dark- near black, opaque, with a one inch foamy head and a good amount of foamy lacing. A really good looking beer. Smells of chocolate, malt, some toffee, raisins, light licorice, a little coffee. The taste is also lead by the chocolate and malt, caramel, raisins, some figs, light coffee. This is wonderful. Smooth, creamy, a great body, well carbonated, refreshing.
This is easily the best Baltic Porter I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, wonderfully crafted. A joy to drink. If you live anywhere near the brewpub, you need to go and try this- on tap, and then bring some home.
