Bright brassy gold with suspended particulate hop matter. Sticky, sudsy foam leaves behind a perfect collar of lacing. The head is gorgeous on this beer.

Aroma is a little light in the hop department, pale malt and some vague grassy noble hop character.

Taste is much more punchy and bitter, resembles a standard IPA in lager form. Resiny, green, bitter, plenty of bitterness just lacks the aromatics. Very drinkable and enjoyable beer, just could use a little more expressive hop aroma and flavor. They nailed the standard IPA vibe though.

Pours an almost completely clear bright gold color that does show some minimal suspended sediment in the beer. Fluffy two finger high white head dissipates steadily leaving just a thin lace doily of foam on top of the beer. Eventually as the beer sits, it really does clear up laving excellent clarity.

Aroma has some light sweet malt notes with a touch of grain. Strong grassy hop notes with a touch of pine come through on the back end of the nose.

Taste essentially follows the nose. The hops dominate the profile with a strong grassy, lightly piney but quite bitter hop flavor punches you in the mouth up front. Semi-sweet bready malts peep through underneath. An earthy woodsy bitterness starts to appear on the back end and just builds upon itself as the beer is consumed.

Feel is moderately bodied, crisp, with a touch of slickness. Moderate carbonation. That woodsy bitterness builds on itself and results in a dry bitter feeling on the finish that is far more pronounced towards the end of the can than it was in the beginning.

The hops are showcased in this one and the result is a really well crafted IPL.
